Dietetics

At Belmont Physiotherapy Centre, our Accredited Practising Dietitians—Anne Buso and Lyndal Bayles—are dedicated to helping you achieve your health goals through personalized, evidence-based nutritional care. We start with an in-depth consultation to understand your lifestyle, current eating habits, medical history, and any food allergies or intolerances. From that foundation, we create a tailored nutrition plan designed to be realistic, enjoyable, and sustainable. Throughout your journey, you’ll receive ongoing education and support to build confidence in making healthy food choices that align with your life, values, and wellness objectives.

Anne Buso

Ba. Sci, M. Nutr. & Diet

Dietitian

Anne Buso brings over two decades of experience in private practice, where she has supported clients in achieving lasting health improvements and sustainable weight management. Anne is passionate about helping our clients achieve their health and weight loss goals, by creating personalised nutritional plans that meet their specific individual requirements. This includes managing any client’s medical conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, and digestive disorders through a healthy diet.

Anne’s clients can expect a comprehensive evaluation of their lifestyle, eating habits, medical history, and any food allergies or intolerances they may have. This evaluation will help our dietitian to create a customised plan designed to meet each client’s unique nutritional needs and health goals.

Clients will receive ongoing support and education to help make informed choices about their eating habits and maintain a healthy diet long-term.

Lyndal Bayles

Ba. Sci. (Hons), PhD, GCert (Human Nut), M. Diet

Dietitian

Lyndal is a warm, empathetic, and experienced dietitian with a B.Sc (Hons), PhD, Graduate Certificate in Human Nutrition, and Master of Dietetics. With more than four years of clinical experience across private practice and hospital environments, she is informed by the latest evidence-based approaches. Lyndal believes that food should be both nourishing and enjoyable, and she is committed to helping her clients feel confident and empowered in making nutrition decisions – especially given the confusion often found in mainstream dietary messages.

Her areas of expertise include diabetes prevention, heart health, gut health (including IBS and low FODMAP diets), food intolerances, women’s health, paediatric concerns (such as fussy eating and infant feeding), and disordered eating. Beyond her clinical work, Lyndal contributes to the next generation of nutrition professionals as a sessional lecturer at Deakin University’s School of Medicine, and she is a Grade 2 dietitian at Barwon Health. She is Monash FODMAP-trained and continues engaging in professional development to stay at the forefront of her field.

Clients appreciate Lyndal’s down-to-earth style and practical guidance. She focuses on making healthier eating both realistic and aligned with each individual’s goals and values. Outside the clinic, she enjoys early morning walks with her dog Bronte and sharing meals with family and friends. Lyndal is available for in-clinic appointments on Wednesdays between 1 pm and 5 pm, with telehealth options available on request.
