No referral is required for private patients booking any of our allied health services. You are welcome to book directly with our team online or over the phone.

Does Belmont Physiotherapy Centre accept new patients?

Yes — we are currently accepting new patients across all of our allied health services.

Is parking available at the clinic?

Yes. There is ample parking available behind the Aldi carpark, on High Street, and across the road near Coles Belmont.


Is the clinic wheelchair accessible?

Yes. Belmont Physiotherapy Centre is wheelchair accessible. Our clinic is located on the first floor, with elevator access available for patients unable to use the stairs. We also have accessible bathroom facilities both downstairs and on the first floor.

Yes! Our fully equipped rehabilitation gym, the Performance Hub, allows our practitioners to deliver gym-based rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, injury rehabilitation, return-to-sport programs, and personalised exercise programs all under one roof.


Can I use private health insurance at Belmont Physiotherapy Centre?

Yes. If your private health insurance policy includes cover for any of our services, we can process your rebate on the spot using HICAPS, with the rebate automatically deducted from your appointment fee. We are also happy to provide quotes prior to your appointment if you provide your physical private health insurance card.


Do you accept Medicare Care Plans?

Yes. We accept Medicare Care Plans for all eligible services, including Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Podiatry, Dietetics, and Psychology.

Please note that, excluding Exercise Physiology, Belmont Physiotherapy Centre is not a bulk-billing clinic, and there is generally an out-of-pocket gap of approximately $25 per session after the Medicare rebate has been processed.


Do you treat NDIS participants?

What is a Medicare Care Plan?

A Medicare Care Plan, also known as an Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) referral or Chronic Disease Management Plan, is a referral completed by your GP that may provide Medicare rebates for eligible allied health services, including physiotherapy, podiatry, exercise physiology, psychology, and dietetics.


Can I use a Medicare Care Plan at Belmont Physiotherapy Centre?

Yes. Belmont Physiotherapy Centre accepts Medicare Care Plans for eligible allied health services.


Which services at Belmont Physiotherapy Centre accept Medicare Care Plans?

Is there an out-of-pocket gap fee after the Medicare rebate?

Yes. Belmont Physiotherapy Centre is not a bulk-billing clinic for Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Psychology, or Dietetics appointments under Medicare Care Plans.

Patients are required to pay the full appointment fee upfront, after which Medicare reimburses the applicable rebate into your bank account. After the rebate, there is generally an out-of-pocket gap of approximately $25 for Physiotherapy, Podiatry, and Dietetics appointments, and approximately $110 for Psychology appointments.

Exercise Physiology Medicare Care Plan appointments are bulk billed.
